The Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities (FISHUM) UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta will hold a socialisation event for the Master's Program (S2) in Sociology and Media and Communication. The socialisation event will take place on 6-7 February 2025 at the Multimedia Room, Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities. The socialisation will feature facilitators from S2 lecturers who are experienced in lecture management, including Dr. Yani Tri Wijayanti, M.Si, and Achmad Uzair, Ph.D, who will share their insights and experiences in the field of sociology and communication. The Master's Programme in Sociology and Media and Communication at FISHUM UIN Sunan Kalijaga is designed with an interdisciplinary approach, combining theory and practice to provide a comprehensive understanding of social dynamics and media development in today's digital era.
This master's programme is chaired by Dr. Fatma Dian Pratiwi, M.Si, under the direction of the Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Dr. Erika Setyanti Kusumaputri, M.Si, and the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Ambar Sari Dewi, Ph.D. This programme aims to produce graduates who are competent in various sectors, both in government institutions, the private sector, and the academic world.
The socialisation participants will be given a presentation on the curriculum structure, learning methods, and supporting facilities available, including a media laboratory and interactive discussion room.
