APC Fishum UIN Sunan Kalijaga Reappointed by PUSPENMA as Partner for the BIB Scholastic Aptitude Test

As part of its institutional readiness, UIN Sunan Kalijaga organized a refresher and capacity-building program for more than 100 supervisors, consisting of lecturers and administrative staff from various faculties and work units. The BIB selection activity was held on Sunday, 28 June 2026, at Grand Rohan Hotel, Yogyakarta. The strengthening of supervisors’ capacity and professionalism reflects the university’s commitment to ensuring that every stage of the selection process is conducted professionally, accountably, orderly, and with a strong orientation toward participant service.

Vice Rector for General Administration, Planning, and Finance of UIN Sunan Kalijaga, Prof. Dr. Mochamad Sodik, emphasized that the renewed trust from PUSPENMA is a mandate that must be upheld through continuous improvement in service quality.

“The trust given once again to UIN Sunan Kalijaga for the second year must be answered with increasingly high-quality service. As supervisors, we serve the participants. The diverse backgrounds of participants, both in terms of geography and digital literacy, require patience, sensitivity, and professionalism. Therefore, our task is to ensure that every participant can take part in the selection process smoothly and free from unnecessary obstacles,” Prof. Sodik stated.

He further explained that the participants come with great hopes of gaining the opportunity to continue their education through the scholarship program. For this reason, supervisors are expected not only to understand the technical aspects of the examination, but also to provide services that are friendly, patient, and solution-oriented.

“They come with the hope of being accepted, and that hope should not be hindered by technical difficulties. They must be able to take the test as well as possible. Any technical issues need to be anticipated and resolved so that participants can complete the test calmly,” he added.

This service commitment was further strengthened through technical briefings for all supervisors. The Supervisory Coordinator, Johan Nasrul Huda, Ph.D., underlined the importance of moral and professional responsibility in ensuring that every participant receives complete and timely information regarding the examination process.

He reminded all supervisors to ensure that participants have received the necessary examination information, installed the required test application, and documented every communication process with participants. Such documentation serves as part of service accountability, particularly in the event that participants later report difficulties or submit objections.

On the same occasion, Dr. Benny Herlina delivered a refresher session on supervision standards, covering the pre-examination, examination, and post-examination stages. This alignment of understanding is essential to ensure that all supervisors provide consistent service standards when assisting participants throughout the selection process.

Meanwhile, the IT Coordinator, Ervan Yogi Arifianto, M.Kom., provided a detailed explanation of the use of the supervisors’ dashboard as a monitoring instrument during the examination. The supervisors were also shown the test application from the participants’ perspective, enabling them to better understand the user experience and provide accurate assistance when participants encounter technical issues.

The collaboration between human resource capacity-building and the use of information technology demonstrates UIN Sunan Kalijaga’s readiness to support a national-scale selection process. The renewed trust from PUSPENMA also reflects recognition of the university’s increasingly mature institutional governance, supported by professional, adaptive, and public service-oriented human resources.

Through the implementation of the BIB Scholastic Aptitude Test, UIN Sunan Kalijaga does not merely serve as a selection partner, but also contributes to expanding access to higher education for the wider community. Its commitment to delivering quality, inclusive, and human-centered services forms part of the university’s contribution to supporting the emergence of excellent future generations through the Beasiswa Indonesia Bangkit program and the Program Beasiswa Santri Berprestasi (PBSB).
