YOGYAKARTA – The Faculty
of Social Sciences and Humanities (FISHUM) at State Islamic University (UIN)
Sunan Kalijaga warmly welcomed a delegation from the Faculty of Sharia and Law
(FSH) at UIN Sunan Gunung Djati (SGD) Bandung on Thursday, April 16, 2026. Held
in the 1st Floor Multimedia Room of FISHUM, the visit, attended by the
educational staff (tendik) from both FSH UIN SGD and FISHUM, featured a
sharing session entitled "Strengthening the Governance of Educational
Staff". This event was organized with the primary objective of sharing
experiences and knowledge, as well as strengthening collaboration between the
two work units.
The event commenced with
welcoming remarks from the Vice Dean 2 of FISHUM, Dr. Astri Hanjarwati, S.Sos.,
M.A., representing the Dean, Prof. Dr. Erika Setyanti Kusumaputri, S.Psi.,
M.Si. "We appreciate the good intentions of the Faculty of Sharia and Law
at UIN SGD to share and collaborate with FISHUM. We hope that we can learn from
one another and adopt positive practices from both sides," stated Dr.
Astri.
Echoing this sentiment, the Head
of General Administration at FSH UIN Sunan Gunung Djati, Heri Sindang Nugraha,
M.M., also expressed his hopes. "We hope to gain insights from our
colleagues at FISHUM regarding administrative governance, quality assurance,
public service, and work effectiveness," he noted.
Moving to the main agenda, the
sharing session was led by the Head of General Administration of FISHUM, Enny
Iroh Hayati, S.E., M.S.I. During the discussion, she outlined FISHUM's
innovations in administrative digitalization, highlighting how correspondence,
academic services, and community complaints have been facilitated through a
centralized system managed by the Center for Information Technology and Data
Base (PTIPD).
In turn, the FSH UIN Sunan Gunung
Djati team, aiming to review their Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
alongside FISHUM, shared their experiences in independently managing their
information systems. Furthermore, both parties exchanged insights regarding
campus infrastructure challenges, as well as the management of civil servant
(ASN) and non-civil servant personnel within their respective institutions.
This comparative study visit
concluded with a mutual exchange of souvenirs between the two work units,
symbolizing the strong partnership forged between these educational
