The Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities (FISHum) of State Islamic University (UIN) Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta successfully held the Socialisation of the 2025 Tracer Study Mechanism, which took place on Wednesday, 15 January 2025, in the 2nd Floor Conference Room.
This activity was attended by faculty leaders, including the Dean of FISHum, Dr Erika Setyanti Kusumaputri, S.Psi., M.Si., along with the Deputy Deans and Heads of related Study Programs. One of the important moments in this event was the presentation from the Chair of Cendi, Noor Saif Muhammad Mussafi, S.Si., M.Sc., Ph.D., who explained the strategic role of tracer studies in evaluating and improving the quality of graduates.
The Chairperson of Cendi emphasised, ‘Tracer study is an important step to measure the extent to which FISHum graduates are able to contribute to the world of work and society. The data obtained will be the basis for improving the curriculum and educational programmes.’
The event aimed to provide participants with technical guidance on the tracer study mechanism that will be conducted this year. The participants were also given space to discuss and provide input regarding more effective implementation methods.
‘With a structured tracer study, we hope to obtain accurate data on the relevance of graduate competencies to the needs of the current world of work,’ added Dr Erika Setyanti Kusumaputri.
