The Head of the Master Program in Media and Communication, Dr. Fatma Dian Pratiwi, emphasized that the preparation of accreditation documents should not merely be viewed as an administrative requirement, but also as a reflective process to strengthen academic quality culture, institutional governance, and the program’s capacity to address contemporary higher education challenges. “Accreditation is an important instrument to ensure the quality of higher education implementation. During the workshop, participants received an introduction to the urgency of accreditation, socialization of assessment instruments, explanations regarding the structure of accreditation documents, and group discussions concerning data requirements and data sources. In addition, the team formulated a work timeline and cross-sector coordination mechanisms to ensure that the document preparation process would proceed effectively and systematically.
