Master's Degree in Sociology, Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities (FISHUM) UIN Sunan Kalijaga held an activity entitled “Academic Writing For Student's Master” with the theme “Strategies for Improving Academic Writing Skills for Scientific Work of Master Students in Sociology”. This event took place on Monday, December 16, 2024, at the Multi Media Room, FISHUM, starting at 09.00 WIB until 12.00 WIB.

In this activity, the Dean of FISHUM UIN Sunan Kalijaga was represented by the Vice Dean I of FISHUM, Mrs. Ambar Sari Dewi, S.Sos., M.Si., Ph.D., who delivered a speech and appreciation for the program specifically designed to support the improvement of the academic abilities of master students.

This activity presented Dr. Erika Setyanti Kusumaputri, S.Psi., M.Si. as the keynote speaker, as well as several expert speakers, namely:

Taufiqurrahman, MA - Lecturer of Universitas Gadjah Mada
Agus Saputra, M.Si. - Lecturer of Sociology Study Program, FISHUM UIN Sunan Kalijaga
The discussion discussed practical techniques and strategies in writing scientific papers, ranging from writing structure, selection of research methods, to publication in reputable scientific journals.

This event is expected to provide new insights for master students to improve the quality of their scientific work and encourage better academic productivity at UIN Sunan Kalijaga.
