YOGYAKARTA – The Faculty of Social Sciences and
Humanities (FISHUM) at UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta has officially commenced
its 2025 Internal Quality Audit (AMI) for Research and Community Service (Pengabdian
kepada Masyarakat). The opening ceremony, held on Thursday, December 11,
2025, in the 2nd Floor Meeting Room, marks a strategic step toward
strengthening academic governance and ensuring compliance with both national
and internal university quality standards.
The event, which took place from 1:00 PM to 3:30 PM WIB,
represents a significant momentum for the Faculty to reaffirm its commitment to
the Tri Dharma of Higher Education (Three Pillars of Higher Education).
The session was presided over by the Vice Dean for Academic
Affairs, Ambar Sari Dewi, S.Sos., M.Si., Ph.D., accompanied by the Vice Dean
for General Administration, Planning, and Finance, Dr. Astri Hanjarwati,
S.Sos., M.A.
In her opening remarks, Dr. Dewi emphasized that the AMI is
far more than a mere administrative formality; it is a crucial component in
fostering a sustainable culture of quality. She asserted that such internal
evaluations serve as the primary pillar in ensuring that all research and
community service activities adhere to established standards, create tangible
impacts, and contribute significantly to the Faculty’s academic reputation.
The gathering was attended by the Faculty's leadership team,
including Heads and Secretaries of Study Programs ranging from undergraduate to
master’s levels. Their presence ensured the readiness of documentation and the
commitment to continuous evaluation within each department. Furthermore,
representatives from the Quality Assurance Group (Gugus Penjaminan Mutu)
were present to strengthen the synergy in executing this year's audit.
The 2025 AMI serves as a vital instrument for reviewing the
alignment of planning, execution, and achievements in research and community
engagement. Through this audit, the Faculty aims to verify that all
lecturer-led activities possess clear direction, are grounded in quality
standards, and produce impactful outputs—ranging from scientific publications
and innovative works to real-world societal contributions. Additionally, this
process provides an opportunity to scrutinize the effectiveness of quality documents,
Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and self-evaluation reports to address
institutional weaknesses comprehensively.
By undertaking the 2025 AMI process, FISHUM UIN Sunan
Kalijaga aims to consistently reinforce its quality culture and refine academic
governance. This initiative also plays a pivotal role in preparing the Faculty
for various national and international accreditation processes, underscoring a
steadfast commitment to innovation, competitiveness, and sustainable excellence
in research and community service.
